Tania Palermo Photography

In September of 2010 I embarked on a cross country trip to increase my photography portfolio.

My intentions were to visit and photograph as many National Parks as I could - in order to share their beauty with you through the medium of photography.

As I've explored my interests and skills I've discovered that I lean more towards art photography, rather than strictly landscape photography. What you will find here is a mix of my interests in storytelling through image - often using layers and textures to visually express emotion; portrait photography - with a specific interest in finding the beauty in the everyday person; and my love for the quirky via conversation with color, shape and texture.

I kept a brief blog of my travel adventures here, "the blog space for tania palermo photography and palermo.art.works!".What started as a means of communication with friends & family is now space for me to explore pictures and words in general.
